Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should round things out once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
